This will be my fourth year as coach of the Baranduda Rangers. In the first three years, the top two grades played in the District competition without winning a premiership, however we had some amazing success with both teams making grand finals. At the end of the 2023 Season the club was given the opportunity to go up into the Provincial competition - which was one of the ultimate goals for the club since I joined them. 

Last season the top 2 grades went into the Provincial competition and whilst we might not have had the win / loss record we wanted, we were extremely competitive and we could have won more games. Last season we introduced some players to higher grades and they thrived on the opportunities. Our two C-Grade teams have seen some amazing young talent come through and our C3 team made the grand final with four under-16s and four under-14s playing a pivotal role during the season. 

We know what’s expected now to be competitive and put in consistent performances each week. We will continue to build on the great foundations we have already set and look for ways to improve. Club legend Mitch Ryan has jumped on board as the Assistant Coach this season and he is keen to help improve the group and help drive the standards we have already set. Bring on Season 24/25. Let’s go Rangers!
